Over recent years, a strong suite of conservation measures has delivered remarkable results across #China. Populations of many endangered bird species are now stable or rising, while the diversity and abundance of flocks nationwide have visibly increased. As one of the most #bird-rich countries in the #world, China is home to 1,505 bird species, accounting for about one-sixth of the global total, including more than 800 migratory species. Strategically positioned along global flyways, China serves as a critical corridor for migratory birds, with four of the world's nine major flyways traversing almost its entire land and sea territory. This year's synchronized wintering waterbird survey recorded 632.4 million individuals across 167 species, marking a 158.9% increase compared with 2016 and setting a new record high in the nation's monitoring history. #ChineseWisdom #KnowAboutChina
