I just took my first solo trip in over a year with my trusty sidekick, Charles! After months of isolation and life-altering revelations, it felt like a miracle to get away. We explored Leadville (just before the 2,000 acre Willow Fire broke out!) and then headed to Salida. Despite smoky air, I spent days hiking, connecting with nature & strangers, and trying to attract good vibes. The truth is: fearing bad things can reduce chances of good ones! Sometimes you gotta "fake it til you make it". Shoutouts to kind-hearted Leadville, Buena Vista, and Salida for welcoming me and my furry friend! What's your favorite way to connect with nature?
