WHAT IF TODAY IS YOUR LAST DAY ON EARTH? Before you scroll past this message… Pause for a moment. What if this morning is your final sunrise? What if tonight, your soul is required back to God? What if the next breath you are taking right now is one of your last? Many people woke up yesterday but did not sleep again. Many made plans for next week but never saw tomorrow. Life is fragile. Death is not always announced. The painful truth is this: One day, every man will stand before God. Hebrews 9:27 says: "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment." One day, money will not matter. Followers will not matter. Beauty will not matter. Fame will not matter. The only thing that will matter is: DID YOU TRULY KNOW GOD? DID YOU REALLY LIVE FOR JESUS? DID YOU OPEN HIS WORD AND ACTUALLY UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU WERE READING? Some people know church but do not know god. Some know religion but have never surrendered their hearts. Some call themselves Christian but never study his word. But listen carefully this morning: God is not mocked. He sees the hidden life. He sees the secret conversations. He sees the lust. He sees the pride. He sees the unforgiveness. He sees the bitterness. He sees the hypocrisy. He sees the rebellion hidden behind public worship. And yet… He still loves you. He is still calling out your name. Jesus did not die for perfect people. He died for broken people. For struggling people. For people drowning secretly in sin. For people who smile outside but are empty inside. Maybe people think you are strong spiritually… But deep down, you know your prayer life is dying. You know you are not in the word as much as you should be. You know your hunger for God has reduced. You know there are things in your life that should not be there. But here's the beautiful truth in all of this. Judgment Day is not meant to terrify those who truly belong to Christ. Romans 8:1 says there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the believer, that day is not about rejection. It is about revelation and reward. But for those who have ignored Him, postponed Him, or replaced Him with religion, it will be a day of heartbreaking clarity. So the real question is not what will happen on that day. It is what are you doing today? So let me ask you. Are you in the Word every day? Not just on Sundays. Not when you feel like it. Everyday. Do you actually understand what you're reading, or does the Bible still feel like a closed door? Because you can't know a person you never spend time with. And most believers don't actually understand the Bible because they were never given the context. They don't have the foundation. That is the problem I discovered three years ago sitting in a room with my Bible study group. I have been teaching Scripture for 18 years. And one Wednesday night we were studying Philippians and I asked my group if they knew what Paul meant when he said work out your salvation with fear and trembling. Silence. They looked at each other, looked at their Bibles. Looked at their notes. And just froze. They had read it before. They had highlighted it. They had heard it preached from pulpits for years. And they had no idea what they were actually reading. They understood my explanations of Scripture, but not the Scripture itself. And the moment I wasn't there to walk them through it, they were completely lost. I am a pastor. I have been teaching Scripture for 18 years. And I had been failing them the entire time. That night after everyone left I sat alone in that empty room for a long time, thinking about that moment. Thinking about how many times those people had read that story. Without understanding the weight of what Paul actually meant. But it wasn't their fault. Nobody had ever given them the context. The next morning I opened my computer and started writing. Genesis. Everything someone needs to know before reading Genesis. Who wrote it. When. Why. What was happening in the ancient world at the time. The main themes. How it fits into the larger story. Not a sermon. Not a devotional. Just the context. I broke it down over and over until my teenage daughter could read it and understand it completely on her own. Then I did Exodus, then Leviticus, then Numbers, every single book of the Bible. Sixty-six cards. One card per book. The next Wednesday I brought those 66 pages to Bible study and put a copy at every seat. Before we opened our Bibles I asked everyone to read the page on the Gospels first. Then I said, "Now open your Bibles to Matthew 26." And I watched something I had never seen before in 18 years of ministry. Their eyes changed. Not confusion. No blank staring. Understanding. True understanding. This is the first time they have truly understood what they were reading. The first time they truly could hear God and felt close to Him. Not because I am some brilliant teacher. But because I finally gave them what they actually needed. Context. Who wrote each book, when, why, what was happening in the world at the time, and the main themes God intended to deliver. Once you have that context, the Bible you thought you knew becomes something you have never actually encountered before. I call them Bible Study cards. There are 66 cards. One for every book in the Bible. Each card gives you what you need before you read: Who wrote it, when, why, what was happening in the world at the time. The key themes God was communicating. And practical steps to bring what you read into your actual life today. Written in plain language, no seminary terms. No complicated theology. Just the context that makes everything you have already read suddenly land with the full weight God intended. Because here is what I know after 18 years of teaching Scripture: The Bible is not confusing because it is unclear. It's confusing because we are reading it without the foundation. And this guide gives you that foundation back. Scripture isn't just about words. It's about knowing the Jesus who saves you. And once you're on the other side, it's too late to start understanding. You don't have to spend one more day feeling lost in the very book that was meant to bring you closer to Him. Don't wait until you're standing before God wishing you had truly known Him. Start truly understanding today. 👉 https://ourfaith.shop/pages/landing-page-blank-jun-15-20-26-24?_ab=0&key=1781973125716 Slip them into your Bible, and give it just five minutes a day. That's it. There is no condemnation for those in Christ, but there is accountability. Live ready. Eternity is real. Let us live like it. If this message touched your heart, do not ignore it. Share this message with someone. You may be helping to awaken a soul before it is too late. P.S.
