DAYS WORD IF YOU MAKE SURE YOUR WAY IS ALWAYS GOD'S WAY, YOU WILL BE OKAY! .......................................... 📖 Proverbs 3:5–6 KJV“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” .......................................... There is tremendous safety in one simple determination: I DO NOT WANT MY WAY UNLESS IT IS GOD'S WAY. ......................................... Not "just": “Lord, bless what I have already decided.” Nor simply “Lord, make my plans work.” Not: “Lord, remove everyone standing between me and what I want.” Not: “Lord, give me enough Scripture to justify the direction I have already chosen.” .......................................... But rather: LORD, IF THIS IS NOT THY WAY, DO NOT LET ME HAVE IT. .......................................... That prayer requires humility. Because man's natural tendency is to choose first— and ask God afterward. .......................................... We decide what relationship we want. What opportunity we want. What career we want. What house we want. Where we want to go. Who we want beside us. What outcome we believe would make us happy. And then we begin asking God to place His approval upon what our own heart has already selected. .......................................... But Scripture reverses that order to. Show how upside down our natural mind can be, and plainly, God does not tell us to direct our own path and ask Him to accompany us. He says: “IN ALL THY WAYS ACKNOWLEDGE HIM, AND HE SHALL DIRECT THY PATHS.” .......................................... The believer's great question therefore should not first be: WHAT DO I WANT? It should be: WHAT DOES GOD WANT? .......................................... And Not: WHAT SEEMS RIGHT TO ME? But by his perfect counsel: WHAT HAS GOD SAID? .......................................... Not: WHAT WILL MAKE MY LIFE EASIER? But: WHAT PATH ALLOWS ME TO WALK UPRIGHTLY BEFORE GOD? .......................................... AND SOMETIMES IF CERTAIN THINGS WE KNOW ARE FAR TO LATE, LET HIM SHOW US OTHER THINGS THAT MAY NOT BE. 📖 Proverbs 14:12 KJV “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” .......................................... Notice carefully: The dangerous way does not always LOOK dangerous IT CAN LOOK OUTWARDLY, AS "SAFETY" even. But peace and safety come from nowhere ELSE but he he formed us in the womb. Sometimes it SEEMETH RIGHT. .......................................... That is what makes human reasoning so dangerous when separated from the Word of God. .......................................... Something can appear reasonable. Profitable. Convenient. Popular. Emotionally satisfying. Financially advantageous. Supported by friends. Encouraged by family. Accepted by society. And still be not God's way he would have directed. THIS IS WHY OUR TESTIMONY MUST ALWAYS BE! That we have been waiting and walking with him. .......................................... A road does not become God's road simply because many people are walking upon it. .......................................... A decision does not become righteous simply because it produces temporary "peace" .......................................... And something does not become the will of God just because we were to spiritually sleepy, WOE UNTO THE FORGETFUL HEARES! any of us and all of us, God Knows! .......................................... The heart needs something greater than itself to guide it. .......................................... 📖 Jeremiah 10:23 KJV “O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.” .......................................... There is wisdom in finally admitting: I AM NOT QUALIFIED TO DIRECT MY OWN LIFE APART FROM GOD. .......................................... I cannot see tomorrow. God can. .......................................... I cannot see every consequence. God can. .......................................... I cannot see every hidden motive in another person's heart. God can. .......................................... I cannot know what one decision today will produce in the time to come. God already knows. .......................................... I cannot see the end from the beginning. But God declared: 📖 Isaiah 46:10 KJV “Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done…” .......................................... So why would finite man insist upon leading an omniscient God?.... .......................................... Why would the sheep tell the Shepherd which direction is safest? .......................................... WHY WOULD THE CLAY TRY TO GUIDE THE POTTER AS IF HE HIMSELF MUST FORM HIMSELF ever more after the womb? .......................................... Why would the creature demand that the Creator rearrange His will around personal ambitions? .......................................... There comes a point in spiritual maturity when the prayer changes. .......................................... The immature heart says: “GOD, GIVE ME WHAT I WANT.” .......................................... The maturing heart says: “GOD, TEACH ME TO WANT ONLY WHAT YOU WANT.” God please change my hearts MO. .......................................... That difference changes everything. .......................................... 📖 Psalm 119:105 KJV “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” .......................................... God has not left us wandering through darkness without direction. He gave us His Word. .......................................... And whenever our desired path contradicts His written Word— we already have our answer. Amen? .......................................... We do not need another sign. We do not need another dream. We do not need tens of people's advice. We do not need circumstances to become easier. He already knows what we need best, but we simply need to realize we CANNOT yet know on this side of THE VALLEY OF THE SHADOM We do not need to “follow our heart.” that's ignorant! .......................................... THE WORD HAS ALREADY SPOKEN. .......................................... And when God's Word speaks plainly, obedience is the safe road. .......................................... Sometimes God's way will cost you something. .......................................... It may cost PRIDE! Money. (and the over-love) Relationships. An opportunity. A position. False Comforts (proud uncertainty) Convenience. Your own timetable! Amen? Or a dream you have carried for years. .......................................... But whatever obedience costs— disobedience eventually costs WAY more. .......................................... Moses chose: 📖 Hebrews 11:25 KJV “Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;” IN EGYPT Sin for a season cost more than what any Gold, could ever buy, (money). .......................................... GOD SAID 👇 There are pleasures that last a season. There are shortcuts that appear successful for a season. There are rebellious decisions that seem to work for a season. There are people who walk contrary to God and appear untouched for a season. .......................................... But never judge the correctness of a road by the first few miles or even halfway through. .......................................... LOOK AT WHERE IT ENDS. ☝️ God already knows, so can you afford to not know and communicate with God? .......................................... That is why Scripture continually calls us back to God's direction. Read the word instantly in or out of season (your convenience). .......................................... 📖 Psalm 37:23 KJV “The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.” .......................................... delight yourself in God's Way! What peace there is in knowing: MY STEPS ARE NOT MINE TO INVENT—THEY ARE GOD'S TO ORDER. .......................................... And understand what “YOU WILL BE OKAY” means biblically. .......................................... It does NOT mean you will never suffer any amount of temporary trouble in this life! .......................................... It does not mean you will never lose anything. .......................................... It does not mean everyone will understand you. .......................................... It does not mean every door will remain open. .......................................... It does not mean your bank account will always be full. Your body will always be healthy. Your family will never experience trouble. Or your heart will never be broken. .......................................... Jesus walked perfectly in the Father's will— and still suffered. .......................................... The apostles obeyed God— and were persecuted and all eventually executed (TO GLORY AMEN!) .......................................... Paul followed Christ— and knew imprisonment, beatings, rejection, hunger, danger, and sorrow de.ath working in his menbers. (Body, limbs, mind) .......................................... So biblical safety cannot mean: A LIFE WITHOUT TROUBLE. it means and talks about and addresses ETERNAL LIFE not wealth health and happiness .......................................... It means something infinitely greater comprehension 👇 YOU CAN SUFFER ON GOD'S ROAD AND STILL BE SAFER THAN PROSPERING ON THE WRONG ONE. .......................................... You can lose something while obeying God— and still have gained. .......................................... You can have a door slammed in your face— and later thank God that He never allowed you through it. .......................................... You can weep over something God removed— and one day understand that the removal itself was mercy. .......................................... You can be misunderstood by men— and still have a clear conscience before God. .......................................... You can walk through the valley— and still say: 📖 Psalm 23:4 KJV “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me…” .......................................... There is the great difference. The question is not whether valleys come. The question is: WHOSE ROAD ARE YOU ON? .......................................... Because there is no better place to be than in the will of God. And there is no more dangerous place to be than outside of it. .......................................... Some people spend years asking God to repair consequences produced by repeatedly refusing His direction. (Hardening the conscience toward his whole existence) .......................................... He warns. He convicts. They hardened themselves. Scripture spoke. They rationalized. Wise counsel came. They rejected it. Doors closed. They mocked on! .......................................... And eventually they discovered that getting what they demanded was not the blessing they imagined. .......................................... Sometimes one of God's greatest mercies is keeping us from our own ways of understanding. .......................................... Sometimes the unanswered prayer was protection. .......................................... Sometimes the delay was protection. .......................................... Sometimes the person who walked away was protection. .......................................... Sometimes the plan collapsing was protection. .......................................... Sometimes what felt like God saying: NO was actually God saying: I CAN SEE WHAT YOU CANNOT SEE. .......................................... We must therefore learn to pray as our Lord prayed. 📖 Luke 22:42 KJV “Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.” .......................................... There is one of the greatest sentences a believer can learn: “NEVERTHELESS NOT MY WILL, BUT THINE, BE DONE.” .......................................... Say it when the answer is yes. Say it when the answer is no. Say it when you understand. Say it when you cannot understand. He does before you bring it to him anyway, but he has commanded we give it to him. Say it when the road is bright. Say it when the road disappears into darkness. .......................................... NOT MY WILL. THINE. always, Amen? .......................................... Because God's way does not need to make sense to us before we obey, and it won't .......................................... Faith does not say: “I will obey once God explains everything.” .......................................... Faith says: “GOD HAS SPOKEN. THAT IS ENOUGH.” .......................................... 📖 Proverbs 16:9 KJV “A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.” .......................................... Make your plans. Work diligently. Think carefully. Seek godly counsel. Count the cost. Use the understanding God has given you. .......................................... But hold every plan with an open hand before God. .......................................... Say: “LORD, THIS IS WHAT I THINK—BUT THOU KNOWEST.” .......................................... “THIS IS WHAT I WOULD CHOOSE—BUT THOU SEEST THE END.” .......................................... “THIS IS THE DOOR I WOULD WALK THROUGH—BUT IF IT IS NOT THY WILL, CLOSE IT.” .......................................... “THIS IS WHAT MY HEART DESIRES—BUT CHANGE MY HEART BEFORE THOU LETTEST ME WALK CONTRARY TO THEE.” .......................................... That is surrender. .......................................... And there is another important test: God's way will never require you to become ungodly in order to obtain it. .......................................... If you must lie to get there— it is not God's way. .......................................... If you must deceive— it is not God's way. .......................................... If you must destroy someone— it is not God's way. .......................................... If you must hate— it is not God's way. .......................................... If you must violate Scripture— it is not God's way. .......................................... If you must silence your conscience repeatedly— something is terribly wrong. .......................................... 📖 Romans 12:2 KJV “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” .......................................... The goal is not to persuade God to agree with us. The goal is for our minds to become so renewed by His Word that we increasingly agree with Him. .......................................... Until His desires become precious to us. His commandments become our boundaries. His wisdom becomes our counsel. His glory becomes our purpose. His approval becomes greater than man's applause. .......................................... And then something wonderful begins happening. .......................................... The question changes from: “HOW CLOSE CAN I GET TO SIN WITHOUT CROSSING THE LINE?” to: “HOW CLOSE CAN I WALK WITH GOD?” .......................................... From: “CAN I GET AWAY WITH THIS?” to: “WOULD THIS PLEASE THE LORD?” .......................................... From: “EVERYONE ELSE DOES IT.” to: “WHAT SAITH THE SCRIPTURE?” .......................................... From: “THIS IS MY LIFE.” to: “LORD, MY LIFE BELONGS TO THEE PLEASE TAKE IT AS IT IS YOUR OWN" that's called Faith .......................................... And that is where true security begins. .......................................... Friend— you may presently be standing at a crossroads. .......................................... One road may be what you desperately want. The other may be what you know Scripture requires. Read 📚 a little, or maybe a little more of the matter.....Amen .......................................... One may satisfy the flesh immediately. The other may require patience, humility, repentance, or sacrifice. .......................................... Choose God's road even if you now realize he had a better one, just keep looking straight onward. .......................................... Even trembling— choose God's road. .......................................... Even weeping— choose God's road. .......................................... Even when nobody walks beside you— choose God's road. .......................................... Even when obedience costs you what you thought you could never live without— choose God's road. .......................................... Because you may not know where every turn leads. BUT GOD DOES. .......................................... You may not know what tomorrow holds. BUT GOD DOES. .......................................... You may not understand why He stopped you. BUT GOD DOES. .......................................... You may not understand why He redirected you. BUT GOD DOES. .......................................... So keep the Book open. Keep your prayers ☝️ up! Keep your heart humble. Keep your conscience intact Keep asking: “LORD, IS THIS YOUR WAY OR MY WAY?” .......................................... And whenever His Word reveals that your way and His way have separated— do not ask God to follow you. .......................................... TURN AROUND AND FOLLOW HIM. .......................................... 📖 Psalm 25:4–5 KJV “Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths. Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.” .......................................... That ought to be our prayer. Not: SHOW ME HOW TO GET MY WAY. .......................................... But: SHEW ME THY WAYS, O LORD. .......................................... Because at the end of this life, the greatest testimony will not be: “I accomplished everything I wanted.” .......................................... It will be: “I SOUGHT TO WALK WHERE GOD LED ME.” .......................................... And when our way is surrendered to His way— whatever may come— we can entrust the outcome to Him. .......................................... IF YOU MAKE SURE YOUR WAY IS ALWAYS GOD'S WAY, YOU WILL BE OKAY. .......................................... Not because the road will always be easy. But because THE ONE DIRECTING IT IS GOD. 📖 Proverbs 3:6 KJV “In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” #KJV #BibleTruth #JesusChrist #GodsWill #TrustTheLord #WalkByFaith #Scripture
