Role Description We are seeking a highly skilled Time Served Joiner to join our dynamic construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a wealth of experience in all aspects of joinery work and demonstrate exceptional craftsmanship in both residential and commercial projects. As a core member of our team, you will deliver high-quality 1st and 2nd fix work, full uPVC installations (windows, doors, and roofline), kitchen and bathroom fitting, and all other aspects of domestic and commercial joinery. You will work closely with project managers and other trades, while occasionally mentoring apprentices to foster a culture of excellence. Responsibilities • Execute a variety of joinery tasks including 1st/2nd fix, kitchens, bathrooms, and cabinetry. • Carry out full uPVC installations of windows, doors, and rooflines. • Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution. • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plastic, and other materials to exact specifications. • Maintain strict adherence to site safety regulations and best practices. • Collaborate effectively with team members, project managers, and clients to meet deadlines. • Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentices and junior team members. Requirements • Time-served experience Joiner (recognised joinery qualification preferred but not essential). • Proven track record in domestic renovations and commercial fit-outs. • Full, clean UK Driving Licence (required for company vehicle insurance). • Must own a standard kit of personal hand and cordless power tools. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. • Excellent communication skills and a tidy, respectful working manner on site. • CSCS card preferred but not essential. Employment Type & Benefits • Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent. • Salary: Competitive hourly rate, negotiable based on experience. • Benefits: Company Van and Fuel Card provided. • Work Location: Sites across Aberdeen & Aberdeenshire.
