We are here to serve your community with high-quality (think top shelf) meats and foods but for wholesale pricing because we do things differently to obtain our food as a community. Here's how we are different: 1. We offer food directly from the producers to those part of our community by purchasing the same item by the truck or pallet for huge discounts. Then we turn around and share those discounts with those that participate - thus giving you wholesale pricing. 2. Because it is wholesale pricing, the prices do fluctuate with the market. There is no retail "cushion" hidden in the price, so this ensures you save big time. We love that you can have the confidence to know you are always saving regardless of what the market is doing. To accomplish this as a community, there is a "catch" if you are willing (we are a co-op so there is a part YOU play)! 1. You are willing to buy in bulk between 10-40lb boxes without fancy retail packaging. Most products are in 10lb boxes. This also provides convenience and food security and BIG savings. 2. You are willing to pickup your food at a local pickup event (happens about every 6 weeks in an area). These pickup events are drive through style as you can see in the video. You don't even have to get out of your vehicle. Some areas also have a home delivery option for a small fee. 3. You are willing to put in just a little bit more work in repacking some foods how you want. When you buy in bulk, there is a little bit of prep work need for some foods.
