Telstra will be upgrading our mobile base station that services Greenway (Homeworld Shopping Centre) to bring an improved 4G & 5G user experience to the community. Telstra mobile services in the area will be temporarily affected while the upgrade works are underway, and the site will need to be switched off during the following periods: • Monday 31st August to Wednesday 2nd September - site offline during daylight hours; • Friday 4th September - site offline during daylight hours; • Monday 7th to Tuesday 8th September - site offline from 7am Monday to 7pm Tuesday; • Wednesday 9th September site offline during daylight hours; • Thursday 10th September - intermittent disruptions to service during daylight hours. These works will not affect NBN, Satellite internet services, PSTN landline services, or mobile coverage from other providers. Calls to Triple Zero from a Telstra mobile when the site is off air will automatically use any other available mobile network for connection to emergency services. Where possible customers can use an nbn, Satellite or other broadband connection to access Wi-Fi calling which will allow their handset to use a Wi-Fi network to make and receive mobile calls. We'll ensure the site is turned off for as little time as possible to minimise any disruption to our customers, and we apologise for the inconvenience this causes. Once complete, this work should result in improved connectivity for the area. For more information, please visit: https://www.telstra.com.au/staying-connected https://www.telstra.com.au/outages
