Did you know button batteries pose serious risks if swallowed? In honour of Button Battery Awareness Day this week, we want to keep your kids and pets safe by reminding you to always tape your used batteries. Taping used button batteries makes them harder to swallow or insert, and if ingested it can reduce the severity of injury. Keep button batteries well out of reach of children. 1️⃣ Don’t toss your button batteries in general waste and recycling bins 2️⃣ Tape them using clear sticky tape, completely covering all sides in tape 3️⃣ Take them to your nearest B-cycle accredited Drop off point, you can find your closest location via our website (in bio)
