I met a lot of people at Meatstock over the weekend, and one thing that came up more than I expected was people saying, “I’ve seen you guys on social media," but they weren't sure exactly what we do. Because when you strip it right back, what we do is pretty simple, but the why behind it matters. Our Cow started because, for us, as farmers, we wanted a better price for our produce and to bridge the gap between farmers and consumers. Part of this was also about making it easier for families to access really good quality meat… without having to think too hard about it. That’s where the home delivery comes in. It shows up at your door, ready for the week (or the month), and everything inside is individually packed. So you’re not dealing with bulk trays of meat or trying to portion things out yourself after a long day. You just grab what you need, straight from the freezer, and dinner is sorted. It’s convenient, but it’s also about doing things properly. Knowing where your meat comes from, how it’s been handled, and that it’s been packed in a way that actually fits into everyday life. Being at Meatstock was a good insight that this part of the story isn’t always obvious at first glance, and that’s on us to keep showing it, not just saying it. This is a little snapshot of what that actually looks like at home. Nothing overcomplicated, just good quality meat, packed simply, delivered direct. 💚
