Maybe your kid brings the binder they’ve been building for months. Maybe they walk up to a vendor a little nervous, flip through their pages, and finally work up the courage to ask about a trade. Maybe they make that trade all by themselves. Then they come running back to you holding the new card like they just won something huge. That’s the part we love. They don’t need a huge collection. They don’t need to know every set. They don’t need to be an expert. Let them dig through boxes looking for that one card they’ve been talking about all week.
