“I don’t want my brows to look like makeup” is one of the most common things we hear. When done properly, shadow brows should heal soft - not harsh, blocky, or overly filled in. This treatment is especially suited to those who already have a reasonable amount of natural brow hair but want to fill patchier areas, add more structure, and make the overall shape easier to maintain with threading or plucking. Our #shadowbrows are created using soft shading with a gentle gradient, rather than one flat block of colour. The upper border and front are kept softer and lighter, with more depth placed through the spine of the brow and towards the tail. This gives shape and definition in a more refined way, while keeping the overall result balanced and natural-looking. It is also a great option where hair strokes alone may not create enough visible density. Hair strokes cannot be placed too closely together, as over time this can lead to blurring or colour spreading. In sparser areas, hair strokes on their own can therefore still leave spaces that feel too open. A soft shadow effect helps give a smoother, more balanced result while still keeping the brows natural-looking.
