The "Jangter" (Northern Treasures) teachings represent an ancient and powerful treasure-dharma lineage of the Nyingma tradition, directly originating from Guru Padmasambhava. 💎 Significance and Merits of the Practice In the Vajrayana teachings, advanced practices such as Atiyoga (Dzogchen) or Mahamudra cannot take deep root or bear true fruit without first laying the groundwork through preliminary practices like Ngöndro. • Purification of Defilements and Negative Karma: Prostrations and purifying recitations help eliminate karmic obscurations and obstacles of body, speech, and mind. • Accumulation of Vast Merit: Mandala offerings serve as a skillful means to rapidly accumulate merit and wisdom. • Receiving the Blessings of the Lineage: Guru Yoga practice connects the practitioner's mind with the minds of the guru and all Buddhas, opening them to the flow of wisdom and awakening. • Transformation of Attitude and Way of Life: Shifts the mindset from worldly attachment toward liberation and genuine benefit for all sentient beings. 🌀 Stages of Practice • Outer Ngöndro: Contemplation on the four foundational mind-turnings—the preciousness of human rebirth, impermanence, karma, and the sufferings of samsara—to redirect the mind away from worldly attachments. • Inner Ngöndro: Training through prostrations, purifying mantra recitations, mandala offerings to accumulate merit, and Guru Yoga to connect with the lineage and open up to spiritual blessings. ✨ Teachings Given By H.E.
