Meet Mimi | EIS Scholar & World Scholar’s Cup Global Round Achiever Mimi, a Grade 9 student and EIS Scholarship recipient, has made an exceptional start to her journey at EIS, recently excelling at the World Scholar’s Cup Global Round held at Yale University, one of the most prestigious international academic competitions for young scholars. Having joined EIS just four months ago, Mimi has quickly distinguished herself through her intellectual curiosity, strong work ethic, and commitment to becoming a well-rounded learner. She values EIS’s inclusive and supportive environment, where learning goes beyond memorisation to develop critical thinking, collaboration, and character. The EIS Scholarship has enabled Mimi to fully engage in enrichment opportunities, competitions, and extracurricular pursuits, while learning within a close-knit community that challenges and supports her in equal measure. She particularly enjoys Mathematics, where hands-on problem solving and collaborative learning have helped sharpen both her thinking and time-management skills. Looking ahead, Mimi aspires to pursue higher education in Canada, with the goal of building a future career in Human Resources. Her advice to students considering the EIS Scholarship reflects her own experience: “EIS is one of the most welcoming schools in Ho Chi Minh City. It helps you grow as a whole person and applying is always a valuable learning experience.” We are incredibly proud of Mimi’s achievements and excited to see how her talent, ambition, and determination continue to flourish at EIS.
