We are hiring service technicians and assistants to join our West Coast branch. Requirements for the position: ▪️ Currently based on the West Coast and have own transport to our Saldanha Bay office for each day of work. ▪️ Bilingual in English and Afrikaans. Additional skills needed for the position: ▪️ You need to have good communication skills. ▪️ Be able to deal with clients in a friendly, helpful and professional manner. ▪️ Need to be able to work in a well-organized and problem-solving manner, with the ability to stay friendly and professional even under stressful and difficult to deal with situations. ▪️ Able to work in a team and follow instructions as given, but also function independently as and when needed. ▪️ Prepared to adopt our company's protocols and policies. ▪️ Hardworking and prepared to be hands on with all aspects of services we render. ▪️ Prepared to work at heights and in confined spaces. Also need to be physically fit to work in these areas. ▪️ Basic mathematic skills. ▪️ Drivers license, working at heights qualification and any other qualified skills preferred. ▪️ Any previous experience in specialized fields of pest management (such as fumigation, HACCP & food safety, weed control or wood destroying organisms, etc.) will be advantageous to your application. Your responsibilities in the position will include: ▪️ Dealing with clients in a professional, friendly and helpful manner. ▪️ Carrying out various services in accordance with applicable industry standards. ▪️ Care and maintenance of your assigned work vehicle, tools, machinery and equipment. ▪️ Accurate competition of relevant documents and paperwork (both physical and digital) relevant to our services. ▪️ Dealing with fellow colleagues in a professional and friendly way. And being able to adjust your role in a team on any specific day, according to who your team comprises of and what is being done. ▪️ And other related tasks.
