NGC 891, captured by Brian (@churchville_astro) under Bortle-4 skies in Churchville, VA. This edge-on spiral galaxy sits about 30 million light-years away in Andromeda, its dark dust lane slicing cleanly through the glowing disk. From moderately dark skies, Brian pulled out incredible structure using his Celestron EdgeHD 8 with a Celestron Off-Axis Guider. To bring out the fine detail in this image, he stacked 7 total hours (1 hour each in RGB, 4 hours in luminance).
