It's been one HELL of a day so I thought I'd end it with a bit of trendy fun!! I've spent a lot of time thinking about my Mum and what my writing meant to her. How proud she'd be and what she'd say. Unfortunately, she passed when I was 25, just shy of her 50th Birthday. I'm 39 this year and it still feels like it was only yesterday. It's funny how fast time flies by without you realising, but how slow it feels within your heart and memories..... Especially when you've lost not only your Mum but your Best Friend too, I'll keep going for you Mumma. Just like I know you would have for me if you could have 🥺❤️ She used to sing the start of this song to me from when I was a baby up until she passed. Even though technically it's "Emmaline". She'd always sing it as "Emily", she was always convinced I'd make a mark on the world somehow and I can only hope and pray, that one day I'll make her proud. This song has a very sad end to it, as those who recognise it will know, which brings me finally to my point. How is everyone doing?? There's a whole lot happening in the world around us and it can weigh heavily on our souls, so take a moment, sit down, take a breath and take a MentyBreak.....we all deserve one!
