Looking for real connection this summer? Join us for a smaller, more intimate summer gathering built around creativity, and community. Summer Intention is returning this year as a more intimate, back-to-the-basics gathering. With a smaller organizing team, we are coming back to what matters most: connection, community, and shared experience. Over four days and three nights, we gather to dance, play, share meals, offer workshops, express ourselves, and connect in a space shaped by care, creativity, and authenticity. This is a place to show up as you are and be part of something alive, collaborative, and deeply human. ✨ Event Details 📍 Lazy River, Hedley, BC 📅 Friday, July 3 – Monday, July 6, 2026 🎟️ Tickets Adult tickets - $120 Youth (age 13-17) - $80 Children (12 and under) - free Tickets will go on sale sometime mid-May, exact date will be announced closer to the time. 🥗 Food is not included. Please bring your own, with some opportunities for potluck-style meals ✨ What to Expect • Music with a full sound system, DJs, and a VJ • Opening and closing circles • River swims, sunshine, and star-filled nights • A welcoming, like-minded community • Co-created workshops, a passion show, and shared décor 🌊 The Venue Set along the Similkameen River just outside Hedley, Lazy River Camping offers a peaceful and expansive place to gather. Surrounded by open valley landscapes, golden light, and wide skies, it is a space that invites you to slow down and reconnect. With over a kilometre of riverfront and beach access, there is plenty of room for camping, dancing, and gathering by the water. Float in the river, watch the sunrise, or settle in under a sky full of stars. This is an off grid site with minimal amenities including potable water, washrooms, and shared spaces. The simplicity is part of the experience. ✨ Co-Creation Co-creation is a core value of Intention, similar to the Burning Man festival and other like-minded communities that we are connected to. We share our personal gifts and learn from the community. It is an opportunity to work together with old and new friends to create a safe container for a rich exploration of people, places, music, art, self-expression, and creativity. We are always looking for volunteers to help with organizing and creating events. If you would like to be involved in the organization process, please contact the org team at [email protected] . We share our gifts, learn from one another, and build something meaningful together. Interested in getting involved? 📧 [email protected] ✨ Stay Connected Join the community and stay in the loop: Facebook PAGE: https://www.facebook.com/intentiongatheringvancouver Facebook COMMUNITY: https://www.facebook.com/groups/intentiongathering Join our mailing list, where the good stuff gets posted: https://intentiongathering.org/intentiontribe/ 🤝 Consent We foster a culture of consent. Please ask, communicate clearly, and respect one another so everyone can feel safe and free to be themselves. 🌱 Land Acknowledgement This gathering takes place on the traditional, unceded, and illegally occupied territory of the Syilx Okanagan People, specifically the Similkameen Bands. We hold deep gratitude for this land and commit to caring for it and leaving no trace. We hope to see you there 💛
