Hi! 👀 My name is Caleb. 👋 I'm your local barber. I was a very popular barber working at the coolest barbershops all over Melbourne. But I had friends tell me: "Sorry I don't feel comfortable at barbershops." "The haircut felt a bit rushed..." "Do they cut women's hair?"Or will they reject me?" "This shop feels like a boys club." 💈CLEARLY WE BARBERS NEED TO DO BETTER💈 I wanted to do better. I decided to open my own shop six years ago in 2020 to create a space where I could cut my mates hair. The timing was awful. 🫠 However, I was determined to create a different kind of barbershop where my mates would feel comfortable. So, I begged my family for help setting up my first barbershop! My wife helped me paint the walls. My mum did custom mural artwork. My dad helped my pick up second-hand barber chairs off Facebook marketplace. My sister gave me her cute old couch to use as a waiting area. I used all the helping hands I could get! It was tough going at first (LOCKDOWNS🫨) but we survived. And then we thrived! 6 years later CHEEKY BARBERS is a booming little barbershop with 4 staff (including myself, of course☺️). I'm proud of the little barbershop I've built, and I'd love to show you. 🫵 Why should you book with me? Hmmm ... 🤔🤔 Do you have a beard? I'm a gun at cutting beards. Do you have curly or wavy hair you struggle to control? As a trained hairdresser as well as barber I know how to control wild hair. Do you have tricky hair that other barbers struggle with? Give me a go! Currently I am taking new clients, buuuuuut it can be hard to sneak in an appointment with myself, so I'd encourage you to book in advance.
