Sometimes people get gifts that they don't particularly want, or they might already have at home so instead of leaving it in a cupboard for the whole year, gathering dust so - bring it in, donate it because a local charity can then turn it into something amazing and raise funds for the children and families that they support. Ideally, charities are looking for brand new gifts. Clothes, handbags, accessories and footwear are easy to sell on they say. Toys should, preferably, be unopened. Our local charity shops are Vision Ireland, Glasough St., Jack and Jill Foundation, Dublin St. and Vincents on Park St.
