Official! Kicking off the weekend of September 6th/7th, seven teams look to take the UPSL Premier Washington title! Spring of 2025 saw Bellevue Athletic loosen their grip on the region ever so slightly after a near-perfect 2024 calendar year. Seattle Eagles FC, playing in their first season at a semi-pro level, finished 2nd and found a way to knock off BAFC in penalties of the Washington Playoff Final. "Just-revenge," some may say for the 3-0 thumping the Eagle's received from the reverse fixture in Match-Week 4. Seattle Eagle's FC went on to face Deportivo Rose City in the UPSL Rd. of 32, but fell short on the day to the Portland powerhouse. We come to a new season. Seatown FC makes their debut and joins a veteran set of returning clubs this Fall. They will play home matches in Tukwila at Foster High School with Román Torres at the helm. What else is new? UPSL Premier Washington is now the top of two divisions for the state! UPSL Division 1 Washington is prepping to kick off in September as last steps are most likely nearing completion. We anticipate clubs to be fully announced soon! We know what you're thinking. Integration of promotion/relegation will not have to wait! While still awaiting final confirmations, we expect there to be as many, if not more, clubs as Premier to debut in UPSL Division 1 Washington. This aligns UPSL WA with EPLWA and Cascadia Premier League; allowing more options for clubs across the state and a path to nationally structured competition. Who do you think will finish in the Top 4? Let us know your thoughts below! by @brucecorrie #upsl #upslwa #football #soccer #washingtonstate
