The Harvesting Spirit Exploration Program will immerse participants in land-based and community-based learning directly from Indigenous Elders, Knowledge Keepers and community leaders while exploring Indigenous food sovereignty, traditional harvesting practices, environmental stewardship, and reconciliation. The program aims to incorporate both Indigenous and Western knowledge systems to deepen participants’ understanding of and participation in Indigenous food sovereignty issues and practices. When? September 27 to October 2, 2026 Price? Sliding scale $400 - $1,500. We have received special funding and are excited to offer highly subsidized spots for 8 local Bow Valley & area youth.
