Mitchell and Brown are looking for a Senior Retail Sales Manager to join our team. -Full Time Position -Competitive Wage The Retail Sales Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the store, driving sales performance, delivering exceptional customer service, and developing a high-performing team. This role ensures the store operates efficiently, meets financial and operational targets, and maintains company standards for safety, merchandising, and customer experience. Key Responsibilities Sales & Performance Achieve and exceed sales, profit, and productivity targets. Analyse sales reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for growth. Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and customer loyalty. Monitor inventory levels and minimise stock loss. Team Leadership Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback. Create a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture. Manage staff rosters to align labour costs with business needs. Customer Experience Ensure every customer receives outstanding service. Resolve customer complaints professionally and efficiently. Promote a customer-first culture throughout the team. Store Operations Oversee daily store operations and ensure compliance with company policies. Maintain visual merchandising standards and store presentation. Ensure accurate cash handling and financial controls. Coordinate stock receiving, replenishment, and inventory management. Health, Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety legislation. Maintain a safe environment for customers and employees. Ensure adherence to all company policies and legal requirements. Skills & Qualifications Proven experience in retail management or a similar leadership role. Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with retail POS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
