Malawian companies, banks, corporates and other investors, this is your opportunity. INVEST IN OUR WOMEN. Give these ladies the financial support they deserve. Improve their allowances. Invest in proper training facilities, equipment and medical support. Build academies across the country where young girls can be identified, trained and developed from an early age. There are talented girls in Mzuzu, Lilongwe, Blantyre, Zomba, Mangochi, Karonga, Nsanje and every corner of Malawi who only need someone to see their potential and give them an opportunity. Imagine what happens when we combine talent + investment + proper facilities + professional development. We could build a generation of world-class Malawian female athletes and create opportunities for thousands of young girls along the way. And this is not just a government responsibility. The private sector must step up. Communities must step up. Sports administrators must step up.
