Ad text
At just eight years old, Tobias Tobias Mupfuti was abandoned, homeless, and living on the streets of Victoria Falls. He survived on food handouts from tourists and spent years sleeping rough. Tired of being bullied and threatened, he learned boxing at age 12 to protect himself. That decision changed his life. Years later, he founded the Victoria Falls Boxing Academy Vicfallsboxingacademy Vfba , which provides free boxing training, food, shelter, and educational support to vulnerable children facing circumstances similar to those he endured. His story became the inspiration for the film Rise, the first Zimbabwean film to qualify for Oscar consideration.
