Ad text
Traditional wooden jumper boards have been used in the Shetland Islands for many years. A generation ago most people still wore woollen jumpers made from Shetland wool on the islands, and we therefore grew up with the common site of sweaters drying outside on these frames. With the huge increase in interest in these traditional skills, the jumper board is now a must-have item if you are knitting a jumper with quality yarn to stop them from shrinking. We currently offer two options of jumperboards inspired from antique designs which we have adapted and make from quality timber. Hand made on the Shetland Islands
