Will consider selling separately, but would love to keep them together. This beautifully restored circa 1953 Wedgewood gas range has been the centerpiece of my 1914 San Diego Craftsman kitchen for the past 15 years. Professionally maintained by RMR Stoves throughout my ownership, it has been our daily cooking range. The home and kitchen featuring this stove and original hood have been featured in the San Diego Union-Tribune, San Diego Home/Garden magazine, and other publications documenting the home's historic restoration. The buyer will receive copies of those articles. Selling only because health circumstances have led me to convert the kitchen to induction cooking. This stove has had only two owners in its 70+ year history. It has never been stored or used as a display piece. Instead, it has been carefully used, professionally maintained, and enjoyed as an everyday range by both owners. Wedgewood Range • Circa 1953 Wedgewood 40" gas range • Professionally restored and serviced as needed over the years, rather than stored • Professionally rechromed stove top • Professionally maintained by RMR Stoves throughout my ownership • Four gas burners • Center griddle with removable Teflon-coated griddle plate • Standing pilot ignition system • Separate oven and dedicated broiler compartments • Oven with original viewing window and two oven racks • Dedicated broiler with complete original broiler pan and rack assembly • Original clock, timer, and lights are present. The electrical components have never been connected during my ownership, so their operation is unknown • Original cooking instructions preserved inside both oven doors • Original porcelain crumb catchers in excellent condition • Original lower storage drawer • Beautiful speckled porcelain oven interiors The stove is currently installed and in daily use. Serious buyers are welcome to see the burners and ovens operating. Original 1914 Craftsman Barrel Hood • Included is the original barrel-style range hood from my 1914 Craftsman home. Approximately: • 36" wide • 24" deep • 32" tall Features include: • Original to the house • Barrel-vault design • Caged light • Deep red interior, painted to complement the Wedgewood emblem The stove and hood have remained together in this kitchen for over 14 years and create a beautiful focal point in a period home. I'd love to see them stay together if possible. Additional Information Mike at RMR Stoves is familiar with this stove and is happy to answer questions regarding its maintenance history.
