Spinner Rings - In-Person Jewelry Class

Discover how structure and movement come together as you create your own handmade spinner ring at Tucson Jewelry School! In this hands-on class, you’ll practice forming a ring, flaring its edges, and constructing the moving spinner band that gives this popular project its distinctive look and motion. All levels are welcome. Beginners can follow the process with step-by-step guidance, while returning students can refine their ring-forming technique and focus on creating a polished, wearable result. Your instructor, Kim St. Jean, is Tucson Jewelry School’s resident artist and has more than 25 years of experience teaching jewelry making. She’ll guide you through the construction process and help you understand how the spinner band stays securely on the ring while still being able to move.
