What tools do you actually need to build a guitar? That question haunted me for years. Every list I found was either too vague to be useful or so long it made things worse. The real answer is personal — it depends on what you're building, where you are in your journey, and what you can afford right now. So instead of another generic list, I spent months putting together a real guide. 87 pages. Every tool I use in my shop after 26+ years of building, with notes on why I chose it, what I'd buy differently if I were starting over, and budget-friendly alternatives that actually work.
