The Borden paranormal investigation has continued to unfold in thoughtful and unexpected ways. During the investigation, members of our psychic team felt a strong connection to the spirit of a young child we believe may be connected to Alice Borden. While this experience has not been the focus of the scientific portion of the investigation, it has opened a deeper spiritual conversation for our team. Our purpose is never to sensationalize these experiences or make assumptions beyond what can be responsibly explored. When we encounter possible spirit activity, our primary goal is to approach it with compassion, spiritual discernment, grounding, and protection. Sometimes that may mean creating a respectful space for a spirit to communicate what it needs to say. Other times, it may involve offering prayer, healing intention, guidance, or support for transformation and peace. So far, the impressions received by the team suggest that this child spirit may represent the voices and experiences of many children who suffered hardship in Fall River during the 1800s. Our research has also revealed the difficult realities faced by many poor, orphaned, immigrant, and illegitimate children during that era, particularly in mill cities like Fall River. At this time, the messages and impressions received have not centered on the Borden murders of 1892. Instead, the investigation has become an opportunity to reflect on forgotten history, hold space for healing, and approach spiritual work with care, respect, and responsibility.
