‘Stories That Made Us- Roots, Resilience, Representation’ reflects on the lived experience of a South Asian family in Coventry between 1968 and 2010, weaving together photographs, artefacts, film, poetry and sound to explore migration, activism and identity across generations. Curated by artist Hardish Virk, the exhibition draws from Coventry Archives' Virk Collection and Hardish Virk’s personal archive to reveal how South Asian communities have shaped and continue to define the city’s cultural life. Through intimate memories and collective histories, it asks whose stories are remembered and how they continue to resonate today. 14 November 2025 – 25 May 2026 Herbert Art Gallery & Museum, Coventry
