Ad text
Four Corners and the ABC published an article where they’ve made explosive claims about horse meat being found in both beef and lamb mince in Australia. Abigail Boyd used her parliamentary power to obtain food safety breach documents that showed breaches of not only horse meat but also mouse fur and metal shavings in foods that they obviously shouldn’t be present in. To make matters worse, the government isn’t allowing the details to be shared about what businesses AND they’re actually holding onto others claiming government privilege and preventing their public release. Knowing what’s in our food is one of the most important things to me and something that has changed my health journey. There are things that are labeled, things that a deceitfully labeled and things that aren’t labeled at all in our foods and there is a huge lack of accountability for it in Australia. This is one of the many reasons why we are very picky about where we get our meat from. We buy all of our meat from Our Cow to make sure we are getting exactly what we paid for - grass fed and finished, free range meat without any hidden surprises.
