Turning my mom's bedroom into the cozy retreat she deserves has been one of my favorite projects yet. Last week we transformed the space with rich brown walls, new furniture, and layered bedding. This week was all about the custom details that truly made it feel like her. The finishing touch? Custom @twopagescurtains curtains & motorized roman shades! Here’s exactly what I ordered: Motorized Cordless Roman Shade | Color: Seedpearl | Blackout Liner Liz Linen Drape Pleated | Color: Oak Dim Gray | Memory Shaped Pinch Pleat | Blackout Liner The difference the right window treatments make is incredible. They blend seamlessly into the walls, make the ceilings feel taller, and instantly give the room that custom, designer look. I also chose a blackout liner since my mom works the night shift, so she can finally get the quality sleep she deserves. Watching her reaction made every second of this project worth it. She told me she's never slept better, and knowing I was able to create a cozy retreat just for her means everything to me. Which detail is your favorite—the gallery wall, the curtains, or the cozy color-drenched walls?
