In 1842, Edgar Allan Poe published "The Masque of the Red Death" and now, 183 years later, audiences are still captivated by its horror and suspenseful storytelling. And, while we are only 5 years removed from a global pandemic, the story of an unrelenting plague is a topic about which many of us can relate. Jason Markiewitz, an award-winning voice actor, adapted this story into a full-cast dramatization, casting voice actors with strong theatrical talent, hired a composer with hundreds of credits to his name, and crafted sound effects to immerse the audience into an inspired re-telling of this horrific tale. Please join us for a special premiere event and listening party, where "Masque of the Red Death" will be played for the first time in public, followed by a Q&A with the writer/director. Every attendee will receive discounts on merchandise and special offers at the Markiewitz Audioworks online store. Light refreshments will be available. RSVP today to reserve your space. Seating is limited! Please RSVP on our website!: www.milledgevillealliedarts.com About Jason Markiewitz: Audiobook narrator Jason Markiewitz gives life and personality to every author's creation, and listeners love it! He has been an avid listener of audiobooks for more than 20 years, especially those read by Scott Brick and full-cast audio dramas by Alien Voices and LA Theatre Works.
