Our vet team soon discovered she had suffered severe eye trauma, and while there were initial concerns about a possible cancerous mass, it thankfully turned out to be a hernia. Tilly bravely underwent surgery to repair the hernia and close her eyes, before heading into foster care to learn how to navigate the world as a blind kitty. Her foster carer shared: "She is gorgeous in foster she moves around the room with confidence, has no issues finding her litter tray or food. And she has so much love to give I really hope she will find someone she can just be a lap cat with as she loves attention. She took a day or two to work everything out but after that she is so confident walking around" And that confidence paid off! After recovering, Tilly found her forever home and has already claimed her castle and ruling her new kingdom 👑 Her new family shared an update with us: "Tilly has been settling in so well. Initially I was nervous about taking care of her but she's already taking care of me!" "She likes feathers and plush toys and diving into paper bags. She's so comfortable she's already doing crazy zoomies at ungodly hours." "She's fearless, it doesn't bother her at all."
