I believed he was a dog meat trader. I said ‘dogs’ in Khmer, but he shook his head. I looked inside the cage and there were no dogs at that moment, so there was not much I could do. I said ‘police’ and ‘illegal’ to him. He shook his head and drove away.​ The cage appeared to be covered with paper, and the motorbike had no visible license plate number. I felt that he may have known what he was doing was wrong.”​ 💔 Siem Reap welcomes people from around the world. Foreign residents and international tourists should not have to witness the dog meat trade in Cambodia’s most important tourist destinations.​ 🐶 Dogs are companion animals.
