✨ 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝘆 𝗜𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗲 𝗜𝘀 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 ✨ 📖🙏🕊️ 𝗣𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗺 𝟭𝟬𝟳:𝟭𝟵 "𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘤𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘥 𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘰𝘳𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘣𝘭𝘦, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘴." There is something about trouble that strips a man down to what is real. I have learned in my own life that when everything feels stable, we tend to lean on our understanding. We lean on what we were taught. We lean on tradition. We lean on confidence. But when distress comes, when the night feels long and the answers feel far away, something different happens. 𝗪𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝘂𝘁. Not politely. Not religiously. Not rehearsed. We cry out because we know we cannot save ourselves. And Scripture says something powerful here. It does not say they performed better. It does not say they cleaned themselves up first. It says, 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙮 𝙘𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙙 𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙤𝙧𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙚, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙃𝙚 𝙨𝙖𝙫𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢. That verse is not theory. It is testimony. 🙏🔥 God responds to a sincere cry. This is one of the untaught truths that stirred my spirit and eventually became the heartbeat behind 𝙏𝙤 𝙊𝙥𝙚𝙣 𝙊𝙣𝙚’𝙨 𝙀𝙮𝙚𝙨 and later 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙐𝙣𝙩𝙤𝙡𝙙 𝙎𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙣’𝙨 𝙎𝙚𝙚𝙙. I began to see how often we complicate what God made simple. We build systems around grace. We add layers around truth. But the Word itself tells us plainly that when the cry is genuine, 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲𝘀. Distress has a way of exposing what we really believe. It exposes whether our faith is rooted in Scripture or in what we assumed Scripture meant. 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗵𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗮 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗰𝗿𝘆. 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗻 𝗛𝗶𝗺. ✝️✨ Psalm 107 repeats this pattern again and again. Trouble. Cry. Deliverance. It is a rhythm of mercy. It is proof that the Father’s heart is not against us but for us. If you are in trouble today, spiritual, emotional, mental, or physical, hear this clearly: 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗼𝗼 𝗳𝗮𝗿 𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝘂𝘁. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗱. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗱. The rescue does not always look the way we expect, but it always aligns with His truth. 🌿 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 🌿 Take a quiet moment and ask yourself this: Have I been relying more on tradition than on Scripture? Have I been assuming God is distant instead of believing His Word? Pray simply: “𝙇𝙤𝙧𝙙, 𝙄 𝙖𝙢 𝙘𝙧𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙔𝙤𝙪. 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙 𝙢𝙚 𝙗𝙮 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙩𝙝. 𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙥 𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙮𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙔𝙤𝙪. 𝙊𝙥𝙚𝙣 𝙢𝙮 𝙚𝙮𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙜𝙪𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝙢𝙚 𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠 𝙩𝙤 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙙.” That prayer is not weakness. It is wisdom. 🕊️ Both of my books were written from that place of crying out. Not to attack. Not to condemn. But to say, 𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝘂𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘁𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳. Let us return to the Word. Let us seek Christ without filters.
