As the government shutdown continues and many families lose access to SNAP benefits, buying pet food has become nearly impossible for some. At the North Minneapolis Pet Resource Center, we’re already seeing more neighbors reaching out for help to keep their pets fed and at home where they belong. We’re down to our last two pallets of dog food, which will barely get us through next week.
