We are often asked about the logistics and timings ahead of starting treatment, and how often you need to be here in our central London clinic❓ 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐧𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐫: While every patient journey is unique and programmes can vary slightly, generally patients will visit us fortnightly for updosing appointments until reaching the maintenance stage. This can take somewhere between 6-8 months. For little ones attending clinic, they will be welcomed by our nursing team in our comfortable OIT lounge, where there is plenty to keep little hands occupied. Or you can bring books, toys or devices from home. We've even seen some patients bring schoolwork or homework to stay occupied, but the choice is yours!
