" when my Tze'ela was expecting, she constantly shared with me she was worried😨, that she felt something was going to happen to the baby; she was so protective of him. She was on bed-rest for six months, and every day she would mention that she has a bad feeling, that in the end something would happen to this baby. I tried to calm her down, reassure her the baby will be fine, I never imagined, even in my worst dreams, that both she and the baby won't survive 😰. On that day, when I got the phone call - I was sure it was Tze'ela, asking me to come over and watch the children. She was the center of my world. There was never a day she didn't call me and talk, every single Friday she came to visit me and say Shabbat Shalom. She always let me feel like she had all the time in the world for me. I went to see her, and still I couldn't believe it, until they made me leave the morgue. Even now I keep thinking that maybe she's coming, maybe she's at the door, coming in to say Shabbat Shalom, to taste the dishes I make especially for her. Since that day I'm a walking body without a spirit. I just want her back. I can't manage to believe she was taken away from me. I can't get up, pull myself together and prepare for Yom Tov. We spent all the Chagim together, at my house, and it's so terribly hard that I can't even explain. Her scent is still in every corner. I had the most amazing daughter in the world. Then I realized that Pesach was coming. No one teaches you how to pick yourself up and start cooking for Yom Tov when my dearest treasure was supposed to be here - and she's not. How will I cook her favorite dishes? That's why, when we were invited to the joint Seder night for bereaved families by Nava organization, my husband and me didn't hesitate for a moment. I can't explain to you how meaningful it is to families that lost the dearest of all - in the times when everything comes to the surface, they will be embraced by families like them, who know the pain of bereavement. I want to tell anybody who sees my words: nine months passed since my Tze'ela is gone, but the pain only grows daily. The coming Chag makes it all overflow and it's overwhelming. So, anyone who can donate to the joint Seder night initiative of Nava organization, please donate. The families need it so much. One night of joy and closeness within the endless pain that has no words. Thank you. Galya Abayov, mother of Tze'ela Gez, who was murdered on her way to the delivery room.
