Most players don’t struggle because they don’t work hard. They struggle because they: • don’t know how to defend properly • get beat 1-on-1 too easily • don’t understand help-side defense or positioning • hesitate or make poor decisions under pressure This clinic is designed to fix that with our high level coaches that are former overseas pros: Terrance Farley (UofL/Overseas Defensive Specialist) & Vince Toftness (Overseas MVP - Guard) We create an environment where players learn how to DEFEND, think the game, and play with confidence on both ends of the floor. 🔥 WHAT THIS CLINIC IS ABOUT This is a high-rep, high-teaching training experience that translates directly to real game situations. We focus on: ✔ 1-on-1 defense (staying in front, angles, effort) ✔ Help-side defense & team positioning ✔ Defensive mindset, toughness & communication ✔ Making better decisions offensively under pressure ✔ Playing with confidence and control in games 🧠 WHAT PLAYERS WILL LEARN • How to guard the ball and stop their defender • Proper defensive stance, footwork & positioning • How to play help-side defense and rotate correctly • How to communicate and play team defense • How to stay calm and make better decisions offensively • When to attack, pass, or reset • How to handle pressure without rushing • How to compete with confidence and energy 💪 WHY THIS MATTERS Most players are never truly taught how to defend or think the game. Defense builds: ✔ Confidence ✔ Playing time ✔ Trust from coaches Decision-making builds: ✔ Basketball IQ ✔ Control & Decisions under pressure ✔ Better performance in games This clinic helps players become more complete — not just skilled, but smart and impactful players. 📅 CLINIC DETAILS ✔ Date: 4/8 (Spring Break – Wednesday) ✔ Times: • 5:45–7:00 PM (Grades 2–5) • 7:00–8:15 PM (Grades 6–12) ✔ Boys & Girls Welcome ✔ Location: Summit Academy 11508 Main Street, Middletown, KY 40243 ✔ Investment: $25 per player 👉 Register online & bring a friend Register here: https://hoopsforchrist.org/collections/camps-clinics/products/mlk-day-clinic-shooting-point-guard-transformation-copy-1
