Meet Sloane Floberg, a compassionate and empathetic person who simply wants to provide hope and healing to others just as she received from others during her personal journey through grief, depression, and anxiety. Sloane and her husband have been married for over 30 years and havefour grown children, three grandchildren, and two boxers. After 20 years as a youth minister on the Standing Rock reservation, Sloane went back to school and became a counselor to help teens and adults not only survive in this life but thrive in it. Sloane believes we all can, at times, get stuck in life due to the stories we believe about ourselves and others. Counseling can be a helpful tool for individuals to learn new skills in how to rewrite some of those stories that have caused pain in order to find a new ending. Sloane extends a warm and inviting space for individuals ages 11 and older, as well as, couples who are currently struggling in their relationship or would like premarital counseling. Sloane provides conventional or Christian counseling services for those struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, anger, grief, spirituality, transitions in life, and conflict resolution. Having a trusted guide who is non-judgmental, down-to-earth, fun, relatable, and has a few movie quotes up her sleeve can be helpful in navigating thoughts and feelings that can at times seem overwhelming. Sloane is here to walk alongside you and empower you, offering the necessary skills and support to help you navigate life’s complexities and embrace a future filled with hope and fulfillment.
