Ad text
Meet the women in this most extraordinary friendship! She is deeply in love with Joey, but also deeply in love with romance and how she's seen it portrayed in movies. Like many women of her time, she settles for a life as a wife and mother even though she had aspirations of becoming an actress. Bernie becomes a deep thinker as she matures, but she's still a simple girl at heart. She loves Mags so much because Mags thinks differently than anyone she knows. Mags shows Bernie a world she never knew existed by introducing her to books, art, ideas and even the things Bernie doesn't approve of. Without Mags, Bernie would only talk about these issues in the abstract, she wouldn't live them. Witness the journey of their lifetime in their own words!
