AAPPL–SP is the new ACTFL test designed for students whose primary language is Spanish. AAPPL–SP gives Spanish-speaking students in grades 5–12 the opportunity to demonstrate their language abilities with all test content, instructions, and questions entirely in Spanish. This unilingual assessment provides valid, reliable ACTFL scores, the gold standard for measuring learners' performance toward proficiency.
