They pack their things, they’re ready to sell… But then the investors “True offer” comes in, you get an email with a termination & an amendment to lower the price 20%. I’ve even seen agents lose / almost lose the entire listing because of it. Don’t let this happen to you. Next time you have a listing that needs an investor offer - ask the buyer / buyer’s agent to provide proof that they actually do what they say they will do. Ask them for their references, talk with the other agents they’ve gone under contract with in the past. That’s the only way you can protect your seller & your listing.
