🚨 BREAKING NEWS from IDSS Sarajevo! 🚨 We are extremely proud to announce that students of the International German School Sarajevo have achieved a historic success at the HIPPO – International English Language Olympiad, held in Venice 🌍🇬🇧 🥇🥇 Both of our students have won 1st place in their respective categories! 🏆 Naomi – 1st place in the Grade 5 & 6 (Native Speakers) category 🏆 Katherin – 1st place in the Grade 8 & 9 (Native Speakers) category With this outstanding achievement, among 107,881 participants from around the world, our students have qualified for the World Finals, ranking among the very best young English language competitors globally! 🌍 🇧🇦 What makes this success even more remarkable is the fact that our school is the only school from Bosnia and Herzegovina to qualify for the World Finals of this prestigious international competition! 🌍 About the HIPPO Olympiad: HIPPO – English Without Borders is one of the largest international English language competitions in the world, established in 2013. 👉 It brings together students from more than 60 countries worldwide 👉 It is aligned with the European CEFR levels (A1–C2) 👉 It consists of multiple stages: school rounds, national qualifications, regional finals, and the World Finals held in Italy (including Venice) 🏆 HIPPO serves as a global platform promoting excellence in English language learning and connecting young people across cultures and countries. 👏 Congratulations to our exceptional students, their parents, and teacher Victoria for their dedication, hard work, and an outstanding achievement that has written a new chapter in our school’s success story! 💙 IDSS – proud of Bosnia and Herzegovina!
