The American College of Science and Technology (ACOSAT) is hosting the Digital Transformation Launch 2026 in Freetown, unveiling a suite of fully developed, African-built digital systems designed to transform education, government operations, payments, workforce management, and national data infrastructure across Sierra Leone and the Mano River region. Registration Link: https://forms.gle/B98uZ7LFwcg3bfXx7 These systems—including ACOSAT Campus Wallet (ACW), NUEPS, NADI, NEPI, HURIS, and ADTS—are already built, tested, and ready for national deployment, offering secure, transparent, and efficient alternatives to outdated manual processes. The initiative aims to eliminate issues such as fake records, financial leakages, ghost workers, and fragmented systems, while ensuring data sovereignty and reducing dependence on costly foreign technologies. Built to U.S. engineering standards by local professionals, these platforms are positioned as scalable national solutions tailored for African realities, including low bandwidth and infrastructure challenges. The event targets key stakeholders such as government officials, university leaders, financial institutions, ICT professionals, and development partners, emphasizing that the region now has a reliable, cost-effective, and locally engineered alternative to foreign systems.
