Mesiac autorského čítania Toto leto sa Trenčín opäť stane miestom výnimočných literárnych stretnutí a objavovania nových príbehov. Vďaka projektu Európske hlavné mesto kultúry Trenčín 2026 sa naše mesto už po druhýkrát zapojí do prestížneho festivalu Mesiac autorského čítania, najväčšieho literárneho podujatia svojho druhu v strednej Európe. Tento ročník prinesie jedinečný pohľad na Grónsko a jeho súčasnú literatúru – predstaví grónskych autorov a autorky (ako napríklad Juaaka Lyberth, Katti Frederiksen, Hivshu, Laila Andrés, Mie Rosendahl, Sørine Steenholdt, Iben Mondrup, Lotte Maré Christensen, Aqqaluk Lynge, Pauline Kleinschmidt Knudsen, Inger Platou..) ktorí vo svojej tvorbe reflektujú témy identity, tradícií, rodinných vzťahov aj života v arktických podmienkach. Návštevníkov čakajú inšpiratívne stretnutia a príbehy, ktoré ponúknu nový pohľad na dnešné Grónsko. Thanks to the Trenčín 2026 – European Capital of Culture project, our city will join the prestigious Month of Author's Readings festival for the second time. It is the largest literary festival of its kind in Central Europe. This year's edition will offer a unique insight into Greenland and its contemporary literature, introducing Greenlandic authors such as Juaaka Lyberth, Katti Frederiksen, Hivshu, Laila Andrés, Mie Rosendahl, Sørine Steenholdt, Iben Mondrup, Lotte Maré Christensen, Aqqaluk Lynge, Pauline Kleinschmidt Knudsen and Inger Platou. Their works explore themes of identity, tradition, family relationships and life in Arctic conditions. Visitors can look forward to inspiring encounters and stories that offer a fresh perspective on Greenland today.
