APPLICATIONS OPEN FOR HIGH SCHOOL BATTLE OF THE BANDS: Tucson Parks and Recreation is accepting applications from bands with members ages 13-18 to compete in the High School Battle of the Bands this spring. The competition will take place at noon Sunday, March 29, at Gene C. Reid Park's DeMeester Outdoor Performance Center. Grand prize winners will receive an appearance on KXCI's "Locals Only" radio show and a full home recording package that includes a copy of Ableton Suite.
