So... this Shabbat is our FIRST EVER Shabbat Ulpana and Mrs. Klein and Chavi are working on INSANE energy as they work to ensure that our girls are involved in every aspect of preparation. Every detail has been planned with thought and care. (We want to know if Mrs. Klein's home is as methodically organized and well-thought out as this Shabbat Ulpana is). - Every grade has gone to a teacher's home to bake - Every student is on a committee for different aspects of preparation- including making centerpieces, welcome packages, thank you notes and packages for teachers, organizing games for teacher's kids, shopping for snacks with teachers - Students have written, songs, raps, skits and shpiels and designed a Shabbat logo. (They also don't know it but each girl is getting a special gift on Shabbat). Our girls are SOOO excited! The vast majority of students are coming. We have a huge crew of staff coming and we are so excited to spend the Shabbat together. Here's just hoping that Trump holds off a bit...
