The Little Deuce Coupe! The legendary 1932 Ford Hot Rod of "Beach Boy" fame fell into disrepair. Gaining Fame through the song and a "Hot Rod" cover shot, the Deuce was owned by Clarence "Chili" Catallo, who bought it for $75 before taking it to the famed Alexander Brothers for modifications. After selling the car, Clarence bought it back decades later and found a Chrysler 440 was stuffed under the hood. Making preparations to remove the engine and restore it, Clarence died of a heart attack. Kurt Catallo, the son, knew just the man to restore the car to glory. "I called Jon Moss. Jon was all about breaking rules to go faster. Taking that 440 out and putting in a Chevy engine was like a doctor lancing a boil. Jon made the Coupe the Coupe again. Now, with EVs, we can't assume that kind of history will be written again." The story of the Deuce and so many other historical vehicles, is in Jon's award-winning biography, "Keys to the Kingdom" which earned second place in the Bookfest Awards for biography, cover design, and book design. Kurt, a restaurant entrepreneur in Metro Detroit, had Jon Moss and author Sean Reavie do a highly successful book signing during the 2024 Woodward Dream Cruise. https://www.amazon.com/Keys-Kingdom-biography-schoolhouse-automotive/dp/B0D548RQPS/ref=sr_1_7?crid=QGV9IA765I4I&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.bdJSKTHveGfMk5UhZrGk31v07V76rPaLIQd8cIdzKhi9sTS8vCl3u2pL-N3MXexaslDNcYg3cxI-d0EAyIxgrHGVGWyV6k3ISPMeXHHsb0LN23LfL4R05M7SPVcOlgqWHFdM3yr8rKjBq9u6hsdN5BCHCOixbIE9tKWpP0LZjsOjJFbPw_84gfPEuTITeYa68A57w4mw_ImIrGLgRhvJlOgIGW4ZBASdzSf9I0HOZK8.HfGGCrbyD38UBvfgsJl-_8iXSiJPhV4G-XEboddXB84&dib_tag=se&keywords=keys+to+the+kingdom&qid=1737321597&sprefix=keys+to+the+kin%2Caps%2C177&sr=8-7
